Oles to Action presents ‘Heads for Hope’
On Thursday, Nov. 15, during community time, 18 Oles shaved all or part of their heads in an effort to raise money for the Healing Outreach Prevention Education (HOPE) Center in Faribault, Minn. According to its website, the HOPE Center offers “direct support to victims of violence in Rice County, collaborative support to other organizations that serve victims and educational support to the entire community.” All told, Oles to Action raised about $5,400 to support the HOPE Center’s mission.
