When satisfied or dismayed with a meal in the Caf, students have the opportunity to provide feedback and tell "the man" how they really feel about the food. However, this is all about to change. Randy Clay, Board Manager for Bon Appetit, announced last week, in a comment card, that he will now be providing feedback to students.
"I'm really excited about this new idea," Clay said. "For so long, students have been going back and forth about crunchy versus chewy granola and which one is better, but now I get to tell them: There is no difference!"
Clay explained that the change will help Bon Appetit share their views and opinions about the daily Caf dishes.
While Bon Appetit staff is excited about the transition, students have mixed responses.
"I don't know if I want to know that yesterday's Home line chicken is today's homemade chicken soup," Brady Post '11 said. "I mean, my roommate and I always make jokes about it, but I don't want to know for sure."
First year Eric Teachout is excited about the change. He said that he feels he gets to know the Bon Appetit staff better.
"I want them to tell me their favorite meal, every single day," Teachout said.
Clay said that he will start to single out students who pile up too much food on their plate every single meal and do not eat it all and tell them to hold back on the comment cards.
"Rachael Larson," Clay said. "I've got my eye on you."
