Track and field takes invites by storm

Baseball

The Oles split double headers against Carleton, Bethany Lutheran and Augsburg. The team won with an impressive 11-run margin in the first game against Carleton on April 27, but the Carls battled back to snatch a 5-4 victory in the second game. In the game against Bethany Lutheran, the rain couldn't dampen St. Olaf's game. The team triumphed in the second game when it raked in eight runs and held Bethany Lutheran to five. Augsburg defeated St. Olaf with a single run in the first game, but Olaf returned with a 14-9 win. The team vies for a win against St. Thomas on May 8.

Men's Golf

The St. Olaf men's golf team came in eleventh out of 16 teams. Chris Conklin ‘11 placed highest with an individual total of 229.

Women's Golf

The women's golf team wrapped up the season with a strong third place finish out of a 13-team field at the Carleton Invitational held April 24-25. Molly Erickson ‘13 was the team's top-ranking individual with an eighth place finish.

Men's Track and Field
In the Gustavus' Drake Alternatives, the Oles performed with vigor for several first-place victories. Both the 4x100 meter relay and 4x400 meter relay teams took top honors with lightning-quick times.

Women's Track and Field
The women's track and field team took the Gustavus Invitational by storm. Lauren Carlson ‘13, Susan Kenzie ‘12, Emma Lee ‘13, Maren Westby ‘12 and Samantha Zopfi ‘13
all earned first-place slots in their individual events.
