Gone by Dawn

By Zack Holmes '23

If I had the option to stay in this barren town for the rest of my days, I would. Everything just made sense here. But, I have to go back before anyone suspects something is wrong with me. A part of me regrets knowing you, yet another part of me will forever cherish the time we had here. I might never know how much I mean to you, but I can say that there will be many constant voices in my head urging and persuading me to come back here once I leave.
